DON PHILIP RELEASES “RAINSONG” REMIX BY DJ EDDIE X

Oakland, CA, MAY 26, 2005- Singer and songwriter, Don Philip, teams with legendary dance deejay and producer, DJ Eddie X, to create a powerful mega remix of "Rainsong," the Billboard Singles Chart: Hot Dance Music/ Club Play™ hit on the White Child/ Liza Label imprint. "Rainsong" maintains its strong hold for its seventh consecutive week on the Billboard chart.

DJ Eddie X is famous for his 2005 dance remix of Barry Manilow’s "Copacabana (At The Copa) and his production work with Niki Harris, former backup singer for pop icon Madonna. The collaboration between Don Philip and DJ Eddie X creates an electrifying synergy between two of the industry’s proven powerful forces. The "Rainsong" remix is going for adds on Tuesday, May 31st.

Don Philip is an internationally known artist with a dynamic vocal range and stylistic-fluidity. A Miami native, Don Philip is an independent artist who writes and arranges original dance, pop, R&B, and spiritual songs. He is the only other artist to record and release a duet with pop superstar Britney Spears, a notable distinction shared with pop icon Madonna.

Don Philip is currently recording at Crescent Moon Studios in the South Beach area of Miami with Puerto Rican singer Angel Lopez (formerly of Son by Four), and in negotiations to record a duet with Mexican singer and actress Mariana Lance (Sofia on TV Azteca’s "Los Sánchez") for a Latin American release later this year. Don Philip recently recorded a new inspirational song called, "Let It Be Me," to be performed on the Trinity Broadcasting Network. Its commercial release is pending.
