Fuentek Names New Technology Transfer Consultant

Laura A. Schoppe, president of Fuentek, LLC (www.fuentek.com), has announced that Debora Good has joined Fuentek as a technology transfer consultant. In this position, Good studies new technologies, identifies those with promise and then contacts applicable companies to determine commercial potential for use of those technologies. She has already successfully secured a commercial license for a NASA-developed battery power limiting technology. Bringing 13 years of experience to Fuentek, Good also helps clients improve their effectiveness by matching their needs with the best new technologies. Prior to joining Fuentek, Good worked with a number of technology companies, including Square D Company (where she invented a patented technology), Siemens, Nortel and Tyco Electronics. Good is a member of the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers’ Power and Energy Society and previously chaired the Power and Energy Society’s local chapter.
