Cat Galaxy, the internet radio station for cats will be dedicating its Wednesday Night Cat Attack broadcast tomorrow in honor of Steve Irwin's memory. Irwin better known as the Crocodile Hunter passed away after being stabbed by the barb of a Stingray while shooting a sequence of Ocean's Deadliest at Batt Reef off the northeastern coast of Queensland, Australia.

"The staff here at Cat Galaxy is deeply saddened by the death of Irwin who dedicated his life to the protection of animals and their conservation. Our deepest sympathies go out to his wife Terri, his children, Bindi Sue & Bob, and his family and friends. His passing is a big loss to this world and he will not be forgotten," said Nohl Rosen of Cat Galaxy.

Though Rosen and the staff did not know Irwin personally they did enjoy watching The Crocodile Hunter which was one of the favorite shows of the feline management. When informed of Irwin's death, the cats seemed a bit saddened.

"Isis, Jade and myself loved watching the show. Steve Irwin probably had no clue that cats watched him on Animal Planet, but just like his human audience it felt like you knew him because he talked to the audience as if they were right there with him. The show was not one of Icarus' favorites but Isis
and Jade would always be right there watching Irwin wrestle crocks, handle snakes and other animals. It was one of their favorite shows and after hearing the news, Isis gave a faint but sad meow," Rosen added.

The Wednesday Night Cat Attack will begin at 7pm (9pm Central, 10pm Eastern time). It is unknown at this point what will be aired on this show but a musical dedication is scheduled to be a part of the broadcast. This is one of the few times on Cat Galaxy that an entire show has been dedicated to a human as most of the time this honor is reserved for felines that have passed away.
