BEIJING, PR China -- A symposium on "Advances in Pediatric Surgery" will be held jointly by Cedars-Sinai Medical Center of Los Angeles, California and Capital Institute of Pediatrics at the Beijing Great Wall Sheraton Hotel on May 10th 2005. Dr. Steve Chi-Long Chen, Dr. Gregory Paul Fontana and Dr. Moise Danielpour of Cedars- Sinai Medical Center as well as Dr. Hui Ye and Dr. Jidong Ma from Capital Institute of Pediatrics will be giving lectures on new developments in pediatric neurosurgery, pediatric thoracic surgery, pediatric cardiac surgery, pediatric urology surgery and neonatal surgery. Hundreds of well-known pediatric experts and professors will be invited to the Seminar for academic exchanges and discussions. The symposium is the third professional academic exchange held by Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in China since May 2004.

Dr. Hui Ye, the Director of Pediatric Surgery of the Capital Institute of Pediatrics will make a presentation on Advances in Pediatric Urology. Dr. Jidong Ma, the Vice-Director of Pediatric Surgery of the Capital Institute of Pediatrics will make a presentation on Advances in Neonatal Surgery.
