Hardin Construction Company Selected As Design Builder For Bennett College Expansion

Tom Booth, vice president and general manager of Hardin Construction Company (www.hardinconstruction.com), has announced that the firm has been named the design builder for the Bennett College for Women’s $22 million expansion. All facilities are scheduled for completion in first quarter of 2011, the transformation encompasses the creation of three new buildings, including honors student housing, a Global Learning Center with offices, classrooms and space for community resources and an Intergenerational Center. The project will also rejuvenate the gymnasium and add additional athletic facilities to attain NCAA eligibility. Bennett’s development aligns with its goal of increasing the student population of 700 to 1,000 over several years.
