San Francisco Has Most Free Wi-Fi Hot Spots, By Far

San Francisco, Calif. June 8, 2005 –- With 430 free wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) hot spots, San Francisco, Calif., has reached the top of a list of the USA's Top 25 Free Wireless Cities; this list is managed by Wi-Fi index www.metrofreefi.com [MetroFreeFi.com]. Until recently, San Francisco was in second place with 120 free Wi-Fi hot spots outranked by Chicago with 171 hot spots.
