Golden Corral Franchisee Opens New Charlotte Location

Billy Sewell, president and CEO of Platinum Corral, a multi-unit franchise operator of Golden Corral Grill/Buffet Restaurants, has announced the opening of a new Golden Corral Buffet and Grill located at 7701 N. Tryon St. in Charlotte, N.C. The restaurant offers traditional Golden Corral stations and buffets, including the bakery, hot meat options, salad bar, fresh vegetables, pizza, pasta and custom carved meats, as well as new features such as a full-service bread station with six types of bread, a self-service beverage station where guests can choose bottle or fountain beverages upon entry, and action-themed cooking where foods are prepared in view of the guest. The restaurant offers a wide selection of foods, including Asian-themed cooking; seafood such as whitefish, shrimp and tilapia; mesquite, hickory and barbeque meats; custom cook stations; desserts such as cakes, pies, cookies and self-serve ice cream; and traditional favorites. It will also offer a full-service breakfast buffet on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
