Cegedim Rx Wears Red for the British Heart Foundation

On Friday 26th May 2010 the team at Cegedim Rx took part in the British Heart Foundation’s Wear Red Day as part of the National Heart Month campaign.

Participating staff at Cegedim Rx’s Leyland and Chertsey offices wore red clothing and donated money to the cause. On the day, a ‘best red dressed’ competition and two sweepstake competitions also took place raising a total of £188.66.

The day was organised by John Drake from the Leyland service desk, who was delighted with the support that he received from his co-workers for a cause that is very close to his heart.

Every year The British Heart Foundation saves thousands of lives through its pioneering research into heart and cardiovascular disease. The British Heart Foundation organises events and campaigns across Britain to raise money to fund this vital research and provide quality care and support for those living with heart disease. The British Heart Foundation is working towards a world where people no longer die prematurely from heart disease.
