Trainer1, the independent e-learning specialist, has won a contract to supply authoring tools, along with training for e-learning development, to a dedicated group of e-learning developers at Kings College Hospital, in Denmark Hill, Dulwich, in south east London.

King's College Hospital is a major London teaching hospital, providing a wide range of hospital services for people in the London boroughs of Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham. It is also recognised nationally and internationally for work in liver disease and transplantation, foetal medicine, neurosciences, cardiology and haemo-oncology.

According to Trainer1’s managing director, Neil Lasher: "Part of Kings College Hospital’s ‘vision’ is to be recognised as a ‘world class centre of clinical and academic excellence’. We are delighted to be able to help the hospital to achieve this in the particular sphere of developing e-learning materials."

Trainer1 is supplying Kings College Hospital with the world-renowned Lectora authoring tool, produced by Trivantis, along with a range of training courses in both Lectora and ‘creating successful e-learning’.
