"Emerging Artists: An Invitational Exhibit of Works by Recent MFA/MA Recipients" will open with an artists’ reception on Friday, July 22 at 6 p.m. and will be on display through September 16 at the Foundry Art Centre, 520 North Main in Historic St. Charles. "Emerging Artists" in Galleries I, II and III will showcase the works of artists who have recently received their Master of Fine Arts or Master of Arts. September 27 - November 5: "Quilt National 2005"

Quilt National 2005, an international juried and judged exhibition of 80 contemporary quilt artists from around the world, will be featured September 27 through November 5 at the Foundry Art Centre, 520 North Main in Historic St. Charles. Admission to this exhibit is $5. Children twelve and under are free. Proceeds will benefit the Foundry and Women’s Support and Community Services (WSCS), a St. Louis organization dedicated to helping women who have been victimized by domestic violence and/or sexual assault. November 11 – January 6: "Norman Rockwell’s Family Life Series"

Norman Rockwell’s Family Life Series, curated by the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, will be on display at the Foundry from November 11, 2005 through January 6, 2006 as part of a series of traveling exhibitions celebrating the art of Norman Rockwell. Norman Rockwell's Family Life Series presents eighty framed prints that offer poignant reflections on American family life, from youth to old age, as portrayed by Rockwell during the mid-twentieth century. The Foundry Art Centre is a fine arts gallery overlooking the Missouri River at 520 North Main Center, in the Frenchtown district of Historic St. Charles. The Foundry features a Smithsonian-caliber art gallery hosting juried exhibitions plus 20 working artist studios where visitors can watch the creative process and buy art directly from the artists. This nonprofit organization also provides community meeting rooms, event space and a children’s art gallery. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon until 4 p.m. Admission is free, but donations are welcome.
