Visit the UK’s fabulous Christmas markets with Superbreak!

With under 60 days to go until Christmas, seasonal markets have started to spring up in cities all across the UK. Superbreak, short break specialist, has announced a series of pre-Christmas deals to help shoppers get into the festive mood and take advantage of some of the best Christmas markets being held up and down the country this year.

The latest seasonal short breaks available through Superbreak include special offers on hotel stays at many of the cities hosting the best Christmas markets this year, including York, Manchester, Bath and Winchester.

For the first time, York is hosting a special German Christmas Market (1 December – 17 December) this year on Parliament Street. There will be a feast of Christmas treats with Gluhwein to help weary shoppers as they browse the stalls of traditional German gifts and crafts, as well as all the usual shops that this great historic city has to offer.

The Christmas Market in Manchester (16 November – 20 December) incorporates a traditional German Market, a European Market and an Arts and Craft Market. The German Market turns St Ann’s Square into a glittering winter wonderland with traditional wooden chalets packed full of unusual gifts. Albert Square is home to the European market.

The Bath Christmas markets (30 November – 10 December) provide the perfect excuse to see the sights of this elegant Georgian city, and offer the best of seasonal shopping, fine food and family entertainment.

Set in the grounds of the Cathedral Close, the Winchester Christmas Market (1 – 10 December) will see 75-100 log chalet style stalls beautifully lit and selling traditional gifts. Around the market will be a programme of festive activities every evening both inside and outside the Cathedral.
