alphyra UK Appoints New Business Development Director

alphyra, Europe’s largest independent solution provider for the processing of electronic transactions, has appointed John Hutchinson as the UK company’s new Business Development Director.

John Hutchinson joins alphyra UK from Ingenico, a leading manufacturer of point of sale equipment, where he was Sales Manager for six years, responsible for hardware services and transaction equipment sales. During this period, he was responsible for growing and developing group sales across the UK & Ireland, Nordic and Benelux territories, increasing sales revenue from £15m to £40m and growing the company’s Sales and Sales Support force from a four to a 20-strong team.

Joining alphyra UK as Business Development Director, John Hutchinson will be developing new areas and exploring new market territories to further increase alphyra’s sales and market presence, including e-government and transport.
