LPU to hold HR Summit to bridge Employability gap

Lovely Professional University (LPU) is organizing an HR Summit in their campus on May 14-15. Eminent personalities and top honchos are participating as speakers. People from various organizations’ HR division would be talking about the means to fill the gap between the demand and supply of employees required in an Industry.

LPU says, “We have christened it as ‘The Bridge’ to convey the very essence and raison d' etre of the whole concept of the summit. As the industry as well as the education sector expands exponentially, this has led to divergence with both acknowledging the importance of each other and yet missing out on the larger picture of scripting the expectation from each other. Hence the bridge.”
This summit seeks to bridge this gap by attempting to create a dynamic two way collaborative interface with the Industry. Thus, the gathering would endeavor to brain storm on the expectation of the Industry from the students and various ways and means to reduce the time and money spent by Industry on making student Industry Ready.

The end objective of the whole summit is to arrive at solutions to raise the employability quotient of the students and to bridge the gap between the perceptions of the industry and academicians, says LPU.
