Eight new appointments have been made, including two Group Account Directors, three Account Directors and two Account Managers and a Senior Account Executive. Of these, two of the recruits are previous Agency.com employees who have spent time at other agencies and client-side before returning to the Agency.com fold.

Reporting into the newly appointed Head of Client Services, Alan McCulloch, Russell Marsh has also been appointed to the role of Group Account Director with his primary focus being the Ladbrokes full-service account. Russell is the first of the Agency.com ‘boomerangs’, having previously held the role of Senior Creative Director working on clients including British Airways’.
Prior to returning, Russell spent time at Fullsix where he was a Director, and Sapient where he was Director of Creative Delivery. Russell has 14 years experience across a variety of roles spanning email, web development, and iTV, CD ROMs, direct marketing and print with an unquenchable thirst for the latest technology trends. He has worked with an impressive client list including British Airways, P&G, Coke, Orange and Carlton Granada.

Joining Russell on the Ladbrokes account, Agency.com’s biggest new win so far in 2005, is Emma Armstrong, Account Director – also a ‘boomerang’. With over six years marketing experience, Emma rejoins Agency.com from a client-side role at BT where she held the position of Interactive Marketing Manager. Emma joined Agency.com the first time round in 1999 where she worked on web accounts including British Airways, T-Mobile (previously One 2 One) and several new business pitches.

The final addition to the Ladbrokes team is Caroline Wood, Account Manager. Caroline joins from Start Creative, an integrated agency, and has also worked for FIBRE Design as a producer and prior to that, SEA Design as a Project Manager. Caroline will specialise in handling email and digital marketing communications for Ladbrokes.com.

Also reporting into Alan McCulloch, Anna Odero has been promoted to Group Account Director. Overseeing British Airways, COI and NSPCC, Anna has been with Agency.com (previously itraffic) for 18 months having joined as an Account Director.

Rachel Wood joins as Account Director, primarily handling the cahoot, COI and NSPCC accounts. Rachel has worked in advertising for the past 8 years, with the last six specialising in digital. Joining from Tribal DDB, Rachel worked on numerous accounts during her tenure since joining Tribal in 2000, including the Phillips Global account, Nationwide, The Guardian and Harvey Nichols.

Michelle Klein joins the expanding British Airways client team as Account Director with 8 years experience in both traditional and digital marketing and publishing. Michelle joins from The Illustrated London News Group where she spent 5 years in the roles of Head of New Media and Client Services Director, gaining vast experience in the international travel, transport and luxury sectors.

Joining Michelle on the British Airways account are Merran Morton, Account Manager, and Mark Wheeler, Senior Account Executive.
These appointments reflect the demand Agency.com has experienced in 2005 with the British Airways account, for whom Agency.com London is the Digital Agency of Record.

David Eastman, Managing Director of Agency.com London, commenting on the recent hirings said: "A solid start to 2005 has required us to make several key hires to cope with the increase in work. Coupled with a restructuring of the Agency.com business, this makes for exciting times."

Eastman continued: "Getting talented people in today’s market is challenging, so we looked very carefully at each hire to make sure that we got the best candidate possible from both a skill and attitude point of view. We are thrilled to be welcoming all the new recruits and appointing such experienced and diverse digital marketers to handle our key accounts. We are particularly pleased to see more ex-Agency.com employees rejoining the agency! What better compliment?"
