LOS ANGELES, June 22 - SLS International (OTCBB: SITI) announced today that its RLA/2 sound system was recently used in high-profile back-to-back concert events at UCLA's Royce Hall. The first concert, Rejoice at Royce, was a variety show featuring Paula Poundstone, John Stamos, Bob Saget, Howie Mandel and Jewel. The second show, the Reebok Human Rights Awards, featured celebrity presenters Don Cheedle and Cameron Diaz.

"We were under a lot of pressure to put a first class system together for both concerts because of the magnitude of the artists," said Michael Bell, president of Bell Event Services, which was the engineering firm for the events. "With the balcony it was difficult to get even coverage. We decided to install a 24 box SLS RLA/2 system and were able to get even coverage in every seat. Both shows went phenomenally well. We had even coverage of the entire venue."

Royce Hall, built in 1929 as one of UCLA's first campus structures, was modeled after Milan's San Ambrogio Church and features two Romanesque style towers. Many artists have performed at in the 2000-seat theater such as Frank Sinatra and the New York Philharmonic. These are just two of the A-list performances that have passed through the concert hall.

"The SLS units give a smooth response and you don't have to spend a lot of time getting the sound to where you want it to be," added Bell. "The benefits of using the SLS speakers are that you don't get ear fatigue and you can hear every word clearly all without having to work at it. The main objective with the SLS line array is it focuses the sound directly on the audience therefore reducing the sound reflecting off the walls. The SLS RLA/2s were the perfect fit for Royce Hall."
