Mother in the UK uses Tawna Hill Baby, Milk & Oatmeal Bath Powder to cure her 10 month old’s eczema. The mother was almost to the point of taking her little one to have a doctor prescribe a steroid cream when she discovered this
natural product to be the answer to her problem.

According to a recent post (below) in, an international baby resource, a mother has found the magic wand for her baby's eczema.

" I have had an eczema break through with my little guy and I just had to share. My 10 month old has suffered with eczema on his arms, legs and face for most of his little life. I was about to take him to the Dr and potentially get the steroid cream. But then I remembered that someone gave me a package of Tawna Hill products and there was a bath powder that said that it helped with eczema. I tried it and WOW, within a week his eczema is gone!!!! The Tawna Hill products are all natural, if you haven't heard of them check out their website Please note: I don't work for them or have any personal connection. I am just over the moon that I found something that worked that is natural!! ".

Infant eczema is a chronic skin condition characterized by skin inflammation and irritation. The severity of extent of the condition is highly variable. It may be caused by allergies, irritants or other factors such as stress. According the NIAMS ( National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases ) 10% of infants and children suffer from eczema. The prevalent treatment is for a prescription steroid cream, however there is always the risk of side effects with any steroid.

According to ( a member of the American Academy of Dermatology ) these are the potential side effects of corticosteroids (GCS) (Eczema treatment prescribed Steroids)

"With all their promise, topical, oral, and systemic GCSs have drawbacks. The literature reflects more than 50 years of studies noting a variety of adverse reactions to corticosteroids - ranging from mild to life-threatening and life-altering. The research has looked at side effects related to the dose and potency of the medications. Some side effects also are related to the drug’s method of administration - whether it is given orally or applied to the skin; length of therapy; patient’s age; and site of topical application.

GCS therapy’s side effects have been shown to include:

Cataracts, or a clouding of the eyes, is a known side effect of high GCS dosages and long-term topical therapy applied around the eyes.
Glaucoma, an eye disease, can result when GCS treatment is applied topically around the eyes or administered systemically, especially when patients are already at high risk for glaucoma.
Gastrointestinal effects, such as nausea and vomiting, can occur with oral GCS therapy.
Growth retardation is a side effect that occurs especially with long-term, systemic (oral or injected) administration of GCS before age two or at puberty. Experts say that children usually resume growing once GCS therapy is discontinued.
Hypertension, or high blood pressure.
Osteoporosis, a loss of bone density or bone thinning.
Skin effects, including stretch marks and spider veins, occur not only with systemic GCS, but also with long-term use of potent topical agents.
Tachyphylaxis, or a decreasing response to corticosteroids, can occur with long-term use of the medications.
Weight gain may occur because of increased appetite and fluid retention.
Infection; skin rashes and irritation; skin thinning; and formation of dilated blood vessels are other side effects that are often associated with the use of topical corticosteroids. "

Despite the side effects, these treatments are still an effective and often a necessary step.

This all natural no chemical MILK & OATMEAL BATH POWDER does not claim to cure eczema, but the above article indicates that it did in this case. Tawna Hill Baby, the brand that produces this bath, has a line of baby skin care products that offer natural solutions to chemical free infant skin.

With all the allergens in household products and environmental toxins it is not surprising that infant eczema is so common.
