Dr. Hardy Singh Joins Orthopaedic Specialists Of North Carolina

Orthopaedic Specialists of North Carolina (www.orthonc.com) has announced that Dr. Hardy Singh, a board certified orthopaedic surgeon, has joined the practice. Dr. Singh brings an extensive background to OSNC. After completing his medical school training in India, he moved to the United States and spent three years as a medical researcher to gain a better understanding of basic and clinical orthopaedics. Dr. Singh then began his residency and specialty training of orthopaedic surgery at Duke University Medical Center. His expertise is with shoulder, knee and hip replacements, as well as sports medicine practice, which include arthroscopies of the shoulder, knee, hip, and ankle.

- Dr. Singh has been a panel member and active participant at the Wound Care Center at Duke Raleigh Hospital, which allows him to take care of the most challenging wounds that occur on the human body. Additionally, he is a specialist and certified expert in hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

- He has been honored as one of the Top Orthopaedic Surgeons in the United States for two consecutive years by the Consumers Research Council of America, and is a recipient of the Physician Excellence award from Duke Raleigh Hospital.

- Dr. Singh is a member of the Piedmont Orthopaedic Society, as well as a fellow of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, North Carolina Orthopaedic Association, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

- In his spare time, he is a high level tennis player, and has participated in the Davis Cup. He learned the importance of teamwork and sacrifice while playing on a cricket team, and he enjoys bicycling.
