World Consumer Expo is a leading trade fair for the multi-product consumer retail sector. This year’s event will feature a vast array of household products and accessories, all under one roof.

Thousands of domestic and international visitors are expected for the four-day event.

Expo organisers have invited a host of exhibitors to the event. Featured vendors will include household products, flowers and plants, health food, hardware, furniture, souvenirs, stationery, frozen foods, travel agencies, books and magazines, processed food and drinks, massage and spa services, electronics, hair care products, home decor, and premium gifts.

There will also be several areas designated for specialty products and services including timepieces, a traditional tea house, a DIY store, fashion, Feng shui, and toys.

Although World Consumer Expo is largely a trade fair aimed at industry professionals such as buyers, importers, manufacturers, traders, distributors, and international buyers, there is plenty for local consumers and visitors to experience.

Lek Boonlert, head of marketing for, anticipates a record turnout for this year’s event.

"World Consumer Expo is one of the largest and fastest growing consumer product industry trade shows in all of Asia," said Boonlert. "We’re projecting that vendors, exhibitors, industry insiders, and visitors from all over the world will start booking Kuala Lumpur hotels well in advance of this year’s show."
