The Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc ® (CRB) have announced the addition of several new showcases as well as several schedule additions to Country Radio Seminar 38 (CRS-38).

Due to growing demand, the DJ Hall of Fame Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, February 27 will be moved from the Level 2 Ballroom to the Performance Hall on Level 1. As previously announced, Kenny Rogers will receive the CRB Career Achievement Award at this event.

Independent showcases on Wednesday, February 28 will include a performance by Jason Meadows in a Baccerstick Records showcase following ARTS, and performances by Carmen Rasmusen and PovertyNeck Hillbillies in a Rust Records showcase which will be held in the Convention Center following the Music City Jam on Wednesday night.

Thursday morning, March 1, Equity Recording Artists Carolina Rain will sing the National Anthem in the Performance Hall.

The Sony BMG luncheon on Thursday, March 1 will feature performances by BNA Recording Artist Terri Clark and RCA Recording Artist Chris Young.

The Weather Channel's Jim Cantore - known to many people for his extensive on-air reporting during the Katrina tragedy - will be part of the "This Is Not A Test" Small Market Panel at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 1.

On Thursday evening from 7-11:00 p.m., CRS-38 will host an evening of eight artist showcases at the Wildhorse Saloon. This is a new event that will allow many registrants access to the second floor of the Wildhorse for a VIP experience.

Also new to the schedule, the Coffee House Green Room, sponsored by PowerSource, Inc., will feature acoustic performances between sessions throughout the conference. It will be located at the end of the Level 2 lobby of the Convention Center.

As previously announced, Jon Bon Jovi will deliver the Keynote Speech on Thursday, March 1, moderated by WSIX-FM's Gerry House. That afternoon, Ronnie Milsap will be the focus of the "Life of a Legend" panel moderated by WSM-AM personality, Eddie Stubbs. The WCRS Live! songwriter showcase presented by BMI will feature acoustic performances by Sarah Buxton, Pat Green and Mac Davis. The event will be hosted by Jeffery Steele. The Capitol Luncheon on Friday, March 2 will feature performances by Trace Adkins and Luke Bryan. Confirmed to perform at the New Faces Show on Friday evening are Rodney Atkins, Eric Church, Jack Ingram, Miranda Lambert and Taylor Swift. The evening will be hosted by Kix Brooks, Host of American Country Countdown syndicated by ABC Radio Networks.
