Ragsdale Liggett PLLC has announced that Diane L. Parsons-Salem has joined the firm’s Real Estate division as Of Counsel. In this position, she will represent lenders and developers in a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions ranging from condominium and student housing projects to apartment buildings and shopping centers. Parsons-Salem is a member of the American Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, Missouri Bar Association and North Carolina Bar Association. She is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the 2nd Federal District Court for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, as well as all Massachusetts, Missouri and North Carolina state courts.

Prior to joining Ragsdale Liggett, Parsons-Salem was vice president and general counsel of Panera Bread Company in Richmond Heights, Mo. She has served as in-house corporate counsel for both Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies. Parsons-Salem received her Bachelor of Arts in History in 1967 at Boston University College of Liberal Arts and earned her Juris Doctor in 1970 from Suffolk University Law School in Boston. A native of Lexington, Mass., she is in the process of relocating to Raleigh and currently resides in Pinehurst, N.C.
