Jovan Walker was born and bred in the Floridian city of Pompano Beach. As fate would reward him, he would soon be forced to grow up in Collier City; one of Broward County's lower class inner-city neighborhoods. Despite the random shoot-outs, robberies, horrific crime scenes & narcotic wars; Jovan refused to succumb to the criminal diseases that invaded his daily life. He wrestled with his conscience down the path of right and wrong. Music became his savior; a way to escape his unwelcomed circumstances.

In 2003 his musical moniker, V.P. (Voice of the People) was given to him for his ability to speak up against his community's oppressions. All within the same year he released his first mixtape rightfully titled "Made in Broward Vol. 1". V.P. has toured nightclubs across the southeast; gracing stages with the likes of Plies, Brisco, The OMG Girlz and Ice Berg, open mic nights, to performing at The Hard Rock Café franchises and The Tupac Amaru Shakur Center.

V.P. and Non Stop Grindin Productions have returned with a long awaited mixtape, "Full-Time Grindin" hosted by DJ Ames; one of the most sought after DJ’s in The United Kingdom. His debut single, "Lookin 4 A Change" has already been certified as "The People’s Anthem" while "Ghetto" featuring Poe Boy recording artist Brisco displays V.P.’s eclectic artistry. While his mixtape reigns supreme, VP has inked a historical deal with Mix Spinz Digital that will take his digital LP "I Am The Voice" into the digital realm of downloads and ringtones.

V.P.’s musical catalog is available for download online and in retail locations across the country. For more information on V.P. or Non Stop Grindin Productions contact Holli Ravine at (954) 740-2182 or visit www.VPMusicOnline.com
