Real Beauty: Lily Garfield, The Cos Bar

After leaving the Big Apple in 1976 for the slow-pace of Aspen, CO, Lily Garfield founded the The Cos Bar. Her forté: hand-picking some of the most sought-after brands for the 12 stores. If you’re fortunate enough (or cursed, as it were) to have one these luxe boutiques in your area, then you know: Lily’s skincare regimen might not be easy on the pocketbook, but it’s worth every penny. CLEANSER
Natura Bisse The Cure Cleanser ($57) is one of my favorite multi-tasking products because it’s a cleanser and toner in one. Great for traveling!

DAY
I’m in love with the new Bulgari Elixir Merveilleux serum ($320). It comes with a closed pump that is never exposed to air, and contains a highly targeted nutritive anti-aging concentrate that leaves my skin with a "cushy" feeling, adding hydration while firming at the same time. I usually follow the serum with Crème d’Olives ($135), an intensive hydrating cream that calms and soothes stressed skin.

EYE AREA
ReVive Serum Presse ($295) helps to combat puffiness and under eye circles—it does everything a serum should. I usually follow with the Bulgari Merveilleux Nutrive Firming Eye Contour Cream ($150) which gives me the extra slip and hydration I need living in harsh climates like Aspen and Scottsdale. I also find that my concealer goes on a lot smoother after using it.

NIGHT
My nighttime routine consists of applying the new SISLEY Sisleya Anti-aging Global Serum ($420), followed by a rich night cream like La Prairie Skin Caviar ($390).

SUN
In all of our destination locations—Vail, Santa Fe, Maui,, etc.—everyone forgets to bring their sunblock. We recommend Clarins SPF 30 ($ 32). If you’re packing lightly, look for a moisturizer that contains SPF, Chanel Precision Day Moisturizer SPF 20 ($58).
