Ragsdale Liggett PLLC has announced that Ashley Huffstetler Campbell, associate attorney at the firm, will serve as a facilitator for the 2007 Negotiations Skills Session offered annually by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s School of Law. This year’s legal forum will take place on Saturday, Jan. 27 at the university’s School of Law building, and will again offer UNC law students an opportunity to improve their ability to negotiate solutions for a variety of legal problems. Walter Blakey, professor at UNC School of Law, is scheduled to run the session. Approximately 20 North Carolina legal professionals have been chosen to monitor the forum and provide feedback upon completion of the exercise.

About Ashley Huffstetler Campbell:
Ashley Huffstetler Campbell is an associate attorney in the litigation department for Ragsdale Liggett PLLC, handling matters concerning intellectual property, construction law, appellate advocacy, and insurance defense. Prior to working with Ragsdale Liggett PLLC, Campbell served as a staff attorney for the finance division of the North Carolina General Assembly and the Legal Aid of North Carolina, where she practiced in the areas of housing, domestic violence, and family law. She is an active Junior League of Raleigh member and currently serves on the Women’s Center of Wake County board. While attending law school, Ashley was the founder and president of the American Constitution Society, the chairman of the Carolina Forum Public Policy Group, and the co-founder and president of the Carolina HIV/AIDS Legal Assistance Project. Campbell received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1999, and her Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2003.
