Eurotech presents three new fanless 800MHz Pentium III PC/104-Plus CPU Modules featuring enhanced co

Eurotech presents three new CPU modules: the CPU-1460, CPU-1461 and CPU-1463 that are based around the Ultra Low Voltage (ULV) Intel® Tualatin Pentium III® processor. These modules don’t require any fan assisted cooling to operate over extended temperature ranges. These modules do not have any moving parts: all the components including the memory (256MB SDRAM as standard) are soldered onboard to ensure reliable operation under shock and vibration stresses.

Ideal for mobile embedded applications prone to high vibrations, humidity and temperature extremes, these three boards are the best solution for applications requiring data compression or high data throughput rates to onboard high-speed peripheral interfaces. They can be used as central control units in automotive applications (trains, buses, etc.) for managing data I/O or video acquisition devices.
These fanless PC/104-Plus form factor CPU modules based on a true Intel architecture, with an Intel 815E chipset, and include a powerful combination of high-speed peripherals: the CPU-1460 includes standard embedded PC peripheral devices including 4 USB ports (1.1 UHCI) and Fast Ethernet (10/100Mbps), the CPU-1461 supports Fast Ethernet and up to 8 USB ports (6 of which are high speed USB 2.0 compliant and 2 are 1.1 EHCI) and the CPU-1463 features dual network controllers, including a Gigabit Ethernet (1000Mbps) and a 10/100Mbps Ethernet controller.

Eurotech will be releasing Board Support Packages for the most commonly used embedded operating systems. This will enable customers to speed up product development times, therefore reducing time to market.
