EMERALD ACQUIRES SIX HENRY STEWART TITLES

Accounting, Finance and Legal
Emerald’s accounting, finance and legal portfolio now numbers seven titles.

Journal of Financial Regulation and Compliance (JFRC) is aimed at practitioners who wish to review major SRO rule updates, case law and regulatory bodies' discussion papers, and covers topics including Basel I, II and III, regulation of Internet Banking, capital adequacy and takeover regulation. The quarterly journal aims to be the leading authoritative journal on financial regulation and compliance and is edited by Dr Oonagh McDonald CBE, a former FSA Board Member and now a research and management consultant. Recent contributions include articles and case studies from the likes of the FSA, PriceWaterhouse Coopers and Barclays Bank. Subscribers come from corporate, public and academic institutions across the world.

Journal of Money Laundering Control (JMLC) is edited by Professor Barry AK Rider, executive director of the Centre for International Documentation on Organised and Economic Crime, Honorary Senior Research Fellow and former Director of the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, Fellow Commoner of Jesus College, Cambridge and a barrister. The quarterly publication allows subscribers to stay in touch with international developments in the area of money laundering control and technological changes, as well as to gain practical guidance to help understand the increasing sophistication of the criminal element. Organisations including the London School of Economics and Political Science, Australia's Monash University and the Ministry of Justice in Taiwan have contributed articles. Also edited by Professor Rider, Journal of Financial Crime (JFC) is a quarterly title for practitioners worldwide, sharing best practice, emerging developments and new thinking in the field. The publication aims to help prosecutors, bankers, forensic accountants and heads of risk to keep abreast of the latest law, regulation and best practice in the prevention, detection and prosecution of financial crime and tracing and recovering missing assets. It covers issues including policing, prosecuting and trying serious frauds and securities regulation and enforcement with articles from leading organisations including US Department of Justice, Interpol and the Australian Institute of Criminology.

Property and Real Estate
Emerald’s property and real estate portfolio now has seven titles.

Journal of Corporate Real Estate is designed for practitioners who wish to gain practical advice on subjects such as leases, integrated infrastructure management, and strategic real estate partnerships. The quarterly journal's editorial board has secured copy from luminaries including Microsoft, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and Delft University of Technology. Subject areas range from flexibility and agility in corporate real estate to maximising shareholder value and portfolio management to help corporate real estate executives develop strategies to maximise real estate’s contribution to business objectives and the bottom line.

Journal of Facilities Management lets managers discover the latest thinking on linking capital and strategic planning, how to renew strategies used by leaders in the sector and how to benchmark themselves against other organisations. Editor Michael Pitt lectures in Estate and Facilities Management at Heriot-Watt University in the UK. Employees from institutions such as Dow Jones and Company, the Boeing Company, Cornell University and Booz Allen Hamilton have contributed to the quarterly publication. Emerald’s strategy and general management portfolio now features ten titles.

Journal of Communication Management is edited by Professor Anne Gregory of the Centre for Public Relations Studies at Leeds Business School and Emma Wood of Queen Margaret University College in Edinburgh, with each geographic region also having its own regional editors. Authors from organisations such as BBC Broadcasting, Hewlett-Packard and the American Red Cross have contributed articles. Subject areas include corporate communications, public affairs and corporate social responsibility. The quarterly journal aims to address the issues confronting communications practitioners in industry, consultancy and government with regular practice papers and case studies. As well as reviewing practical models and theories used in communication management and engaging in debates on the latest thinking, the journal helps communications directors, heads of PR and other professionals to stay informed of the latest legal updates.
