Brown Architecture, Inc. Joins SFL + a Architects

Robbie Ferris, president and CEO of SFL + a Architects, has announced that Charles Brown, AIA, LEED AP and the staff of Brown Architecture, Inc. will join the firm to expand its high performance and sustainable design practice. Brown and the staff of Brown Architecture, Inc. are active within the U.S. Green Building Council, and will provide SFL + a with additional expertise utilizing environmentally friendly, sustainable, green design principals. Formerly located at 701 N. Person St. in Raleigh, Brown Architecture, Inc. has received a number of award recognitions, including the Sir Walter Raleigh Community Appearance Award in 2005, the Raleigh Neighborhood Appearance Award in 2004 and the North Carolina Sustainability Award in 2002, an award which cited the firm for its continuing contribution to sustainable design.

Charles Brown will assume the role of principal at SFL + a Architects, joining its existing principals: Robbie Ferris, Eric Lindstrom, Ron Rice, Kenneth Underwood, Mark Sealy and Eddie Anderson.
