The domain name of www.discountvouchers.com was sold to the money saving website DiscountVouchers.co.uk, for £100k by Barry Garner, an Internet marketer.

Voucher code websites get no better than DiscountVouchers.co.uk, as it is the UK's favourite. Following on from the transaction from Mr Garner, the discount saver company is looking to evolve further with new deals and discounts.

A spokesperson for the money saving website said: "The website was set up in 2009, in May, and has grown to have 3 million subscribing members. The brand is very strong and to protect it, we have bought DiscountVouchers.com to allow us to reduce any confusion for our customers".

The website is promoting the new deals and negotiated offers on social networking sites, as it is the quickest way to relay messages to many people at once, and now has 19,000 Facebook followers. With more than 2,000 different discounts from 500 high street shops, the money saving website generates £3million per month for the retailers which are on listed on the site.

DiscountVouchers.co.uk has hundreds of offers and money-off codes, and is the UK's favourite website for saving money, with some top names such as Sainsbury's, Tesco, Boden, First Choice, Travelodge, Marks & Spencer and Lastminute.com.
