Jeunes Restaurateurs d’Europe (JRE) is excited to announce its new technological advancement in securing a relationship with Livebookings, the UK’s leading supplier of real-time restaurant technology. With Livebookings clients in the UK including The Conran Group, The Ritz London, Sketch, Vama and Smiths of Smithfield, JRE have seized the opportunity to provide diners with a seamless online service and restaurateurs with excellent marketing potential and reliability of confirmed tables.

With this success, Livebookings has opened the opportunity for business to its European counterparts. The technology provided by Livebookings facilitates restaurants to take real-time reservations from their own website, or indeed third party website, straight into an electronic reservations diary. "We want to make our technology part of the daily lives of restaurant diners. The European market is one of the fastest growing consumer market for lifestyle services", said Bruno Mafflard, Business Development Manager for Livebookings Europe, "Our strategy is to implement our product in all European countries after the success in UK and certainly the demand is recognisable".

Now, JRE has teamed up with Livebookings to offer this state-of-the-art software to all members. JRE will start a progressive implementation with the Netherlands and have recently showcased to the remaining countries at the International JRE congress in Brussels where online reservations were discussed at some depth under the title ‘The Future of Gastronomy’.

Relatively unknown to many in the UK, JRE have evolved into an association that unites more than 100 member restaurants in France alone. The European dimension has been developed under the presidency of Gérard Faucher in the early 1990s, and represents today, a union of 370 restaurant holders divided over 9 countries. Based on membership by association, JRE is characterised by the strict criteria it set, the main being that the restaurant owners must be aged between 23 and 35 years of age, be mentioned in several national guides, sponsored by two members of the association, a restaurant owner, an active, motivated member and a supporter of the philosophy of "Talent & Passion" of the Jeunes Restaurateurs d’Europe.

Sign up of the European restaurants to Livebookings are not limited to their home country . With the dramatic uptake by third party booking channels to become ‘Livebookings enabled’ in the UK, JRE restaurants can find themselves being featured on the likes of city-eating.com, quintessentially.com, americanexpress.co.uk, lastminute.fr amongst others. With access to millions of customers, the scope of your marketing will be increased instantly, benefiting also from extensive promotional activities and exclusive offers.

With this union Livebookings and Jeunes Restaurateurs d’Europe wish to give the opportunity to the association to develop its customers, its members and also start to move into the UK market itself replicating its proposition.
