Robert Clemen, past president of the Lakeland Builders Association and Chairman of the Lakeland Builders Association Parade of Homes, has assumed the role of Event Manager for EcoFair360 2011. Mr. Clemen will act as liaison to the business community and bring his considerable experience in event management to help build the attendance and local economic impact of the Fair, which will take place at the Walworth County Fairgrounds in Elkhorn, WI on July 8-10, 2011.

"I participated in last year's EcoFair360 as an exhibitor with Lakeland Builders Association," says Mr. Clemen, "and it impressed me enough that I want to work actively to help it grow." He will work with event organizers Fritz Kreiss and Catherine McQueen to build on the roster of exhibitors and presenters established by the 2010 EcoFair360, to add new sponsors from across the business and media spectrum, and to increase community involvement.

As Chairman of the Lakeland Builders Association 2010 Parade of Homes, Mr. Clemen nearly tripled the attendance in a very slow economy, helping the builders to sell homes and keep their crews employed. He also was chairman of the Builders Economic Summit last March that brought housing experts, as well as Congressman Paul Ryan, to speak to local business and government leaders. Mr. Clemen has just completed six years on the Board of the Lakes Area Realtors Association.

Mr. Clemen has been professionally involved in all aspects of real estate, and is a leader within Walworth County for environmentally responsible land development and green homebuilding. On his last building project he was able to reduce landfill waste by over 80%.

He and his wife Lynn have lived in Williams Bay, Wisconsin for more than 30 years and have been active in school activities with their four daughters, Rescue Squad and Alpine Valley Ski Patrol. As he watches his grandchildren grow he has a renewed commitment to "live with a small footprint" and to leave the earth a better place for future generations.

The second annual EcoFair360 will take place July 8-10, 2011 at the Walworth County Fairgrounds in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, five miles from Lake Geneva and centrally located between Chicago, Milwaukee and Madison. This three day event of exploration, education and inspiration of sustainable practices attracts community leaders, industry innovators and an interested audience. The web site is www.ecofair360.com.
