Yellowstone Madonna of Stanton, MI is the proud owner of Bomshel’s "Wicked Women Of Tequila Rose" chopper. The CMT auction closed at midnight on Saturday having raised nearly $25,000 for the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute. Bomshel announced the winner after their concert in Grand Rapids, MI. Ms. Madonna was on hand to celebrate her winning bid and help present the check to the Karmanos Institute.

The one-of-a-kind motorcycle was commissioned by McCormick Distilling ‘s Tequila Rose brand and manufactured by Wicked Women Choppers of Herron, IL. In addition to the custom design and Tequila Rose graphics, the bike was autographed by over fifty top country music stars.

Bomshel partnered with the Karmanos Institute in 2006. Last week, the duo stopped by the Institute to visit with patients and perform acoustically. "It was a truly amazing thing to be part of," says Bomshel’s Kristy O. "We’re grateful to able to help raise money and awareness for such a worthy cause." "Spending time with the patients and staff of the institute has given us enormous respect for what the center does" added Bomshel’s Buffy Lawson. "The folks at Karmanos are saving lives everyday and we feel blessed to have the opportunity to help."

In response to the auction, Nick Karmanos, VP of Development for the Karmanos Institute said, "We are thankful to Bomshel, Tequila Rose, Wicked Women Choppers and everyone involved in making the auction such a tremendous success. Not only did this partnership help to raise critical funds, allowing the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute doctors and researchers to continue their vital work, but it helped to create awareness across the country that while much progress has been made in the treatment of cancer, we still have much work to do to bring this terrible disease under control. We are inspired by the groups’ selfless efforts and we vow to continue to work relentlessly in the quest to eradicate cancer."

Bomshel is currently on their "Wicked Women Of Tequila Rose" Tour, sponsored by McCormick Distilling. The tour runs through November with stops at clubs, casinos, colleges, fairs and festivals nationwide. Their current single "Bomshel Stomp" is climbing the radio charts and has already topped the Club Connection country dance chart.
