DirectRooms.com – VietWine opens for first time in Hanoi from 9 to 11 March 2011

VietWine 2011 will feature a number of wine producers from regions worldwide as well as domestic suppliers who will be presenting to the leading hotels and restaurants from the city.

Importers and wine merchants will be showcasing some of the finest wines available to the market and there will be a chance for attendees to sample the many varieties on offer. The audience of industry executives set to attend will include food and beverage managers from the city’s many five star hotels as well as caterers and bar owners.

A special feature of the event will be the staging of the 2011 Vietnam Bartender Competition which will see the best bar staff from around the country performing a number of tricks in the hope of being crowned Vietnam’s best bartender.

The event will aim to be one of the largest trade shows in the country for wine and more than 6,000 hospitality professionals are expected to visit the Giang Vo Exhibition Centre where the show takes place from 9th to 11th March 2011. With the increase in people heading to the Vietnamese capital hotels Hanoi in closest proximity to the centre will be in the high demand.
