– Manila to host biggest Container Ports and Terminal Operations Exhibition in ASEAN

The event will be hosted by the Philippine Ports Authority and will offer the largest biennale in the Philippines. The exhibition will be combined with the biggest B2B trade event in the ASEAN region.

The Luxurious Peninsula Manila Hotel will host the event on 27th and 28th January 2011 and 250 key decision makers within the industry are expected to attend from some of the world’s leading cargo companies, container shippers, freight forwarders, importers and exporters, as well as terminal operators working within Australasia.

Exhibitors will include over 50 international shipping lines, It companies and container ports, and will feature 25 guest speakers from around the world who will deliver lectures and interactive presentations concerning both global and regional transport logistics. They will also address the biggest issues currently facing cargo owners and shipping lines.

The event aims to synergise a global movement towards economic growth within the Maritime industry and look for solutions to future challenges with a view to transforming the sector.

The Philippines is one of the largest archipelagos in the world and is a beautiful country which is rich in culture. Delegates will book into hotels in Manila during the three day event.
