DirectRooms.com – Special Event for Thai AA Members to be Held in Pattaya in February 2011

The special event is sponsored by Alcoholics Anonymous of Thailand and will be held at the Montien Hotel in Pattaya.

The weekend will consist of a series of workshops and meetings that celebrate the mission of Alcoholics Anonymous. Workshops and lectures by guest speakers are geared towards encouraging continued sobriety of attendees and offering support to fellow AA members. Other anticipated highlights include men’s and women’s meetings, Step Meetings and a Sobriety Countdown.

A gala banquet will be held on the Saturday night for all attendees. The Thai-Western buffet will provide an evening of socialisation and camaraderie amongst members. The keynote speaker will be Jay S. from California. An AA member from Thailand will also be speaking during the evening.

Rooms are being offered at the Montien Hotel Pattaya for any attendees looking to stay the weekend in comfortable accommodation. Special room rates of 2,800 Baht – 3,100 Baht are being offered by the hotel in conjunction with the event. Please contact Khun Tongsin at the hotel to reserve your room at these special rates. There are also cheap Pattaya hotels available for those on a budget.

The fee for the gala evening is 1,600 Baht, to be paid at the time of registration. Those interested in volunteering to assist during the three-day event for AA members are encouraged to contact the Roundup committee.
