The Gluten Free Food and Healthy Living Expo 2011 will promote a healthy lifestyle and dietary regimen including food intolerances, awareness of allergies and alternative approaches to health.

Throughout the expo, there will be a unique presentation that delivers a strong exhibitor base as well as a positive and very responsive audience. The key message of the expo will be that a diet without gluten can be enjoyed.

The programme for the expo will include seminar presentations covering celiac disease and gluten-free diets with Dr. Jason Tye-Din from the Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute.

Teresa Cutter, one of Australia’s leading experts on healthy cooking, will present cooking Sessions. Educational sessions will include travelling with celiac disease, how to read labels and how to use alkalisation for health benefits.

Visitors can purchase tickets for $15 and there are concessions for the aged, health workers and students as well as for WA members. The expo venue can be accessed via an onsite car park, bus terminal or the Esplanade train station. Hotels in Perth can provide convenient accommodation for those travelling from further afield.
