OMAR TYREE brings FLYY GIRL MODEL SEARCH TO ATLANTA

FEBRUARY 28, 2005 (ATLANTA, GEORGIA) -- As he continues to provide major contributions to African American literature, author, Omar Tyree has decided to launch full tilt into the fashion market and popular culture with Flyy Girl Incorporated (modeling, fashion, special events, and a groundbreaking new magazine - Flyy Girl; The Urban Statement). On March 13, 2005, Tyree will host the fashion event of the year. Tyree will pay a special visit to the city of Atlanta to launch the first event of a national tour which will include Flyy Girl searches in Washington DC, Los Angeles, and New York among others.

The timing for the Flyy Girl Model Search could not be more perfect. Slated to be one of the most exclusive fashion driven events within the city’s limits, the organizers, Verseus Entertainment Group and ReMIX Solutions are aiming to aid Tyree in rising above the conventional sex-and-glamour standards for models by elevating the search process. The event will incorporate a refreshing comprehensive, multi-cultural, and multi-faceted concept. A panel of judges including casting agents, stylists, modeling agencies, modeling schools and photographers will give the entrants an overall review along with constructive feedback. All will contribute to the prominence of the Flyy Girl Search event.

The registration for the model search competition will be held at Embassy Suites Hotel Atlanta-Perimeter Center. The after-party event will take place later on that evening at the Upscales Event Facility.
