Altera signs Firefly to address defence market

Firefly Technology today announced that it has signed a representative agreement with Altera Corporation covering the military and defence electronics market in the UK and Ireland. The agreement is a key step in Altera’s strategy to increase its presence in this market.

According to Alistair Sands, Regional Sales Manger for UK and Ireland, Altera, "Growing our presence in the military and defence market is a strategic objective for us. The Firefly team has over a decade of experience selling to defence customers. They offer a high level of knowledge and understanding of the defence industry and its market requirements.
