The Aberdeen Strathspey and Reel Society have a total of 85 regular members from ages 11 to 90 years. The society was established in 1928 celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2003. The members perform throughout the North-east of Scotland and produce at least one major concert each year.

The evening will be filled with a night of magnificent toe-tapping Scottish music from the combined orchestras of the Aberdeen and Banchory Strathspey and Reel Society. The evening’s special guest this year will be Caldeon.

Caledon’s three-tenor group has sung to sold-out shows around the world including in Australia, North America and New Zealand. They have also performed at Hampden Park in front of more than 55,000 soccer fans, as well as for Her Majesty the Queen and for His Excellency and UN Secretary General Kofi Annan.

Tickets can be purchased from the Aberdeen Box Office. Prices are £15.50 and £18.50, plus booking fees. One pound from each ticket sold goes towards the Aberdeen Performing Arts Restoration Fund. There are discounts available for APA Friends, concessions and for groups as well.

For those arriving from out of town, Aberdeen airport hotels will provide the nice places to stay. Event times for The Fiddlers' Spectacular are 7:30pm to 10:00pm each night. Tickets can be ordering online from the Aberdeen Box Office.
