Curb recording duo Bomshel will sing the National Anthem prior to the third annual NEXTEL Prelude to the Dream presented by Old Spice June 6 at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.

The NEXTEL Prelude to the Dream will feature racing icons Tony Stewart, Juan Pablo Montoya, Jeff Gordon, Kasey Kahne, Kevin Harvick, Matt Kenseth, Mark Martin, Denny Hamlin, Bobby Labonte and others competing in 2,300-pound dirt late model stock cars capable of putting out more than 800 horsepower.

The race will be broadcast live on HBO Pay-Per-View with the proceeds from the groundbreaking telecast going to support the Victory Junction Gang Camp and the Tony Stewart Foundation.

"We’re very excited that Bomshel will be performing the National Anthem prior to the NEXTEL Prelude to the Dream presented by Old Spice," said Stewart, a multi-time racing champion and owner of Eldora Speedway. "They’ve got a fantastic sound and they’ll do a great job performing the National Anthem, not only for everyone in attendance at Eldora, but for everyone watching at home on HBO Pay-Per-View."

"We can't wait!" said Bomshel’s Kristy O. "It’s always a big honor to be able to deliver the National Anthem, especially at an event like this."

"We’re proud to be chosen to sing the Anthem," added Buffy Lawson. "Maybe afterward they’ll let me drive!"

Bomshel is currently traveling the country on the Wicked Women of Tequila Rose tour sponsored by McCormick
Distilling’s Tequila Rose Brand. The powerhouse duo of Buffy Lawson and Kristy O are gearing up to release their latest single, "The Power Of One," an uplifting song about the power that one person can have in making a positive difference in the world. The song is slated to be included on the forthcoming Evan Almighty soundtrack.

The live HBO Pay-Per-View broadcast will begin at 7 p.m. EDT (4 p.m. PDT) on June 6, with an immediate replay and subsequent replays throughout the week and the following weekend. Prospective viewers can order the event right up until race time on June 6, and all that is necessary to order is digital cable or satellite service. A subscription to HBO is not required. The suggested retail price is $24.95 and available to more than 61 million pay-per-view homes. Ordering information and up-to-the minute racing information is available at www.hbo.com/sports.
