DirectRooms.com – Channel Island’s largest motoring event comes to Jersey during 3 to 5 June 2011

The festival features a wide selection of beautifully maintained vintage cars along with classic motorcycles that will be touring around the island or racing in the specialist events. These will include sprint events and hill climbs where vehicles will really be put through their paces and to qualify for entry cars must have been made before 1975 and 1979 for motorcycles.

The motor show will be presenting an extensive collection of cars and bikes with enthusiasts bringing over their vehicles to be displayed along with the all the motoring clubs in Jersey.

Visitors can see everything from Jaguars to Aston Martins and the dedication that goes into restoring and maintaining these classics. Stands are also going to be selling specialist parts and collector’s items to help with restorations and where people can get advice on their own projects.

All the races and shows will run from 3rd to 5th June 2011 and with so many cars entered along with the number of spectators, hotels in Jersey are due to be virtually all booked out
