Heaventools Software announces the release of Resource Tuner Console version 1.10, a command-line resource editor with flexible scripting. This script driven console tool takes the drudgery out of manual resource editing and repetitive tasks. Flexible scripting enables you to access and edit a wide range of different resource types easier and faster.

If you need to update existing resources, or add new ones for several hundred files, you are more than likely going to want some way to implement this with a batch file. Whenever large numbers of files have to be processed or to be accessible through scripting, you need Resource Tuner Console. At the final stage of your build process, now you can edit strings in and work in multiple languages. Resource Tuner Console accepts input from a script file and supports VBScript, Unicode and multi-byte character sets. No more struggling with OEM/ANSI code pages. Make your applications and data operable and accessible in different languages. Resource Tuner enables you to customize any application by editing and replacing string resources and icons within large numbers of files.

Version 1.1 now supports adding and replacing an icon resource with an icon from an ico file, editing StringTables and MessageTables using an external unicode text file. It will let you replace all string resources in a second.
