Her company Perfect Pads, recently moved to North Carolina from the tight space it had occupied in Christina’s Michigan dining room since its founding in 1999. Initially Christina did all the sewing on her own, but quickly the business surged and she hired out one contract sewer. Currently, Christina has one full-time and a part-time worker; she expects to find a manufacturing company soon to help her keep up with the demand.

Christina began the business soon after she began to research the feminine hygiene products industry; looking for the best brand to recommend to her four daughters that would be coming of age.
