Intero Real Estate Services Names John Thompson Senior Executive Vice President

CUPERTINO, CA. – Intero Real Estate Services, Inc. today named John Thompson as its senior executive vice president. Thompson fills a new position with Intero as the company experiences some of its most substantial growth since its inception. Founded in 2002, Intero Real Estate Services was recognized in July by the National Association of REALTORS® as the fastest growing real estate company in the nation.

Thompson, a Silicon Valley native with more than 16 years of real estate sales and management experience, will begin his role effective immediately. He will continue to work out of the Intero Real Estate Services office in Los Altos, Calif. and he will report directly to founder, president and CEO, Gino Blefari.

In this capacity, Thompson will take an even more active role in the direction of the company while continuing his role of managing the day-to-day operations of Intero Los Altos.

Prior to his new appointment, Thompson was founder, vice president and managing officer of the Los Altos branch of Intero Real Estate Services. His accomplishments include growing his agent roster from four to more that 65. He has also used his passion and enthusiasm to attract some of the most highly touted agents in the entire Bay Area.

Thompson co-founded Intero in 2002 after managing the Cupertino branch of Century 21 Seville-Contempo/Coldwell Banker for over five years. In 1997 and 1998, John’s branch ranked second among the 6,500 worldwide offices within the Century 21 network. During that time, he also led the successful merger of Century 21 Seville-Contempo with Coldwell Banker Northern California.
