– Major International Hockey Tournament Hits Utrecht in Summer

Hockey fans can look forward to seeing some of the best young talent from throughout the whole of Europe at the competition, with talent scouts sure to be on alert for emerging stars too. The tournament comprises both boys' and girls' competitions, with the boys' half featuring teams from Belgium, England, Spain, France, Germany, Netherlands, Russia and Ireland.

The competition runs from the 12th July to the 17th July when the tournament final will be held and the new European champions announced. Competing in the girls' under-18 tournament this year are national teams from Belgium, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, England, France and Spain.

Spectators can look forward to enjoying the top-class facilities and playing surfaces of the SV Kampong in central Utrecht. Hockey enjoys a loyal following in Holland and crowd numbers are expected to be high as people seek to enjoy some outdoor sport in the warm summer weather.
