Participants can register online from 19th June and will need to pay entrance fees in person at the Tulip Restaurant. This can be found at Eagle Beach, the starting point of the competition. Payment facilities are open at the Tulip Restaurant between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm on the 1st July, and 9:00 am to 11:00 am and 4:00 pm until 6.30 pm on the 2nd July.

Participants will range in age from 16 to 50 plus, and each age group has its own category.
There are two races – the Olympic and the Sprint. The Olympic involves a 1,500-metre ocean swim, followed by eight loops of five kilometres by cycle, followed by four 2.5 kilometre runs. The Sprint involves a 750 metre ocean swim, four 5 kilometre loops by bike, ending with two runs of 2.5 kilometres.

The event celebrates its 25th year in 2011, and Aruba is expected to get very busy around the time of the triathlon. Spectators, participants and their families will all be on the island on 3rd July for what should prove to be an exciting challenge. Visitors to Aruba in need of Palm Beach hotels are strongly advised to book well in advance.
