13.56 MHz HF RFID Reader Module

GAO Embedded (www.GAOEmbedded.com) has announced the release of its 13.56 MHz HF RFID reader module which is a feature-rich and easy-to-use HF RFID reader module commonly used for product authentication, access control and contactless payment.

This easy-to-use HF RFID reader module, model 713010, features a small size, easy integration, low power consumption, various tag compatibility and intelligent software. It consists of a 9.6 to 38.4 kbps UART (TTL) host interface, four general purpose I/O ports and an intuitive API for encryption algorithms and key storage. When used together with an external antenna, it boasts a long read range of 8 to 14 cm depending on the specific application. The reader module reads ISO 15693 and ISO 14443A/B RFID tags and is compliant with various standards including FCC 15.225, EN 300-330, EN 301-489 and EN 61000-4-3. In addition, it can retest tag compatibility and performance with Tagnostic® and TagIQTM.
