Trident has expanded its portfolio of displays to include the Winmate 21.3 inch and 24 inch wide, open frame and chassis LCD monitors. These new monitors are tailored to meet the critical demands for embedded industrial products and can serve as public environment screens. They are suitable for applications where the interface must be flexible and sturdy enough to withstand heavy usage and resist vandalism including digital signage, retail, public transportation and control rooms.

The Winmate 21.3 inch and 24 inch screens, from Trident are available either open frame or chassis mount with various touch screen options such as 5 wire resistive and SAW touchscreen. Both monitors feature a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 16.7M display colours and optional video inputs, S-Video or composite video enabling them to be used with CCTV or other video recording equipment. An additional benefit is the option to rotate these screens horizontally or vertically in order to suit the application.

The 24 inch widescreen monitor boasts an outstanding WUXGA resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, 500 cd/m squared brightness and a wide viewing angle of 89 ~ 89 in both horizontal and vertical directions.

The 21.3 inch monitor features a UXGA resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels, 300 cd/m brightness and ultra low power consumption of just 60W typical.

An optional DVI input allows these screens to interface with digital equipment, and both monitors are ideal for digital signage applications thanks to the range of stand alone and network players available for Trident to embed within the display.
