This truly stunning exhibition presents a unique opportunity to view the many exotic flowers native to the southwestern part of Western Australia. This region of Australia has always been famous for its unique natural habitats and this exhibition gives visitors the opportunity to see examples of the area’s diverse selection of wildflowers under one roof. The festival will also showcase local crafts practitioners at work and there will be light refreshments offered for sale. There is also a teapot exhibition on the schedule of events.

Busselton is 229 kilometres south of Perth in Western Australia, and is one of the country’s earliest settlements. Visitors wishing to attend the Busselton Wildflower Exhibition will find a variety of hotels in Busselton which will be able to accommodate all preferences and budgets. The coastal resort also offers spectacular beaches and is viewed as the gateway to the Margaret River Wine Region of Western Australia.

The Busselton Jetty Underwater Observatory is also well worth a visit, perhaps after visiting the Busselton Wildflower Exhibition. The venue has been described as a ‘reverse fishbowl’, with humans on the inside and the marine wildlife on the outside looking in.

The Busselton Wildflower Exhibition will take place in the Bryant Memorial Uniting Church Hall, Kent Street, Busselton. Travel to Busselton from Perth is easy by road. Entry to the exhibition will cost $8 for adults and $5 for pensioners; children are admitted free.
