Clare Archaeological & Historical Society To Launch Autumn/Winter Lecture Series 2007/2008

The Clare Archaeological & Historical Society will officially launch its Autumn/Winter Lecture Series 2007/2008 at 11am in Clare Museum on Friday 14th September 2007. The Civil War executions of two Clare men, post-famine photographs of West Clare and the built heritage of Clare's coast will feature as part of the six-month series at Clare Museum commencing on October 8th 2007. The media is invited to attend the photocall. Interview opportunities will also be provided.

The photocall will be attended by Mary Kearns, Honorary Secretary of the Clare Archaeological & Historical Society; John Rattigan, Curator, Clare Museum; and Edel Greene of Clare Museum and Clare Archaeological & Historical Society.

Coming from Limerick - follow the N18 into Ennis towards Galway, turning right at the traffic lights (just beyond St Flannan's College) onto Clon Road Mor.
