DirectRooms.com – Asia largest travel trade exhibition comes to Kunming between 27 to 30 October 201

China International Travel Mart (CITM) 2011 will feature travel related companies from around Asia as well as global operators who will be showcasing their latest products and services. The show will also see participation from the world’s major airlines and international tourist organisations.

Exhibitors will be a representation of all different types of tourism from destinations worldwide. Adventure tours, cultural excursions or idyllic beach getaways will all be promoted by companies who will be exhibiting to try to get a hold in the lucrative Chinese market.

An increasing number of Chinese travellers are broadening their horizons and are looking for more exotic and alternative destinations. Tourist boards and agencies will be talking to local travel agencies in a bid to establish partnerships and increase travel to their home nations.

The event is spread over four days from 27th to 30th October 2011 and will take place at the Kunming International Convention and Exhibition Center. Local tourist services including Kunming City Centre hotels are also set to exhibit to establish crossover deals to help promote the Chinese city.
