The subject to be assayed at this year’s conference is the Bi-Polar Spectrum. The conference will examine the range of disorders that are characterised in the Bi-polar spectrum and the final day of the meeting will assess current treatment for sufferers.

The identification of the Bi-Polar Spectrum was first distinguished 10 years ago. This first international conference will therefore be able to update delegates to any advances in the field and also analyse any progress.

Professor Karam from Lebanon and Professor Hantouche from France will chair the conference. Many of the prestigious experts are coming from as far afield as the US and Hungary. There will also be a chance to catch up with delegates and speakers throughout the conference.

The conference will be held at the Intercontinental Hotel, Phoenicia, Beirut, and there are wide ranges of fees for potential delegates. For those wishing to present papers at the conference the deadline is the 30th of September 2011.

Attendance for the conference is expected to be high and visitors are advised to book into one of the many Beirut City Centre hotels in order to ensure a convenient place to stay. Beirut has an international airport and most visitors to the city use taxicabs as a convenient method of transportation. Some visitors choose to enter Lebanon by ferry, as the country is situated on the Mediterranean.
